Moat & Langton House…
…is a beautiful pair of Georgian grade II listed houses, originally built in the former moat of Lichfield Cathedral.
It is named after Walter Langton, former Bishop of Lichfield who also served Edward I as Chancellor of England from 1295 to 1307. He was a keen builder and constructed the Western front and three spires of the Cathedral.
